1. Permitted discovery uses
To the extent Blue Jetty has authority to grant permission, Blue Jetty permits access to and use of its public records for search indexing, retrieval, recommendation, ranking, user-directed generative responses, app discovery, comparison, citation, and routing or related agentic actions undertaken on behalf of users for discovery and handoff. This permission includes copying records into internal retrieval indexes, maintaining reasonable caches, refreshing those records, and using reasonable excerpts in permitted outputs.
These permissions are subject to applicable licenses and law and reasonable published service-access limits. They do not themselves authorize a transaction, access to a user's account, execution inside an app, circumvention of publisher restrictions, or action for which the user has not provided the necessary authority. Destination-specific permissions remain applicable.
2. Bulk Redistribution and Index Substitution
For consumers bound by the applicable agreement, unless a separate written agreement or the exceptions below permit it, you may not extract, reproduce, publish, distribute, sublicense or sell all or a substantial portion of Blue Jetty Materials as a standalone dataset, downloadable collection, mirrored directory or replacement index made available to third parties. A replacement index is a collection reasonably capable of serving as a substitute source for Blue Jetty's app-discovery index, regardless of its branding or business model.
This restriction includes repeated or systematic extraction of smaller portions that collectively produces such a replacement. It does not prohibit internal retrieval indexes and caches, ordinary search or recommendation results, user-directed generative responses, reasonable supporting excerpts, citations or links within the permitted discovery uses. Offering such a search or assistant service to third parties is not, by itself, redistribution of a replacement index.
3. Blue Jetty Materials and third-party rights
“Blue Jetty Materials” means Blue Jetty's software, original documentation, designs, branding, and its independently protectable contributions to the selection, arrangement, annotations and other original elements of the index, only to the extent Blue Jetty owns or is authorized to license those contributions. It excludes public facts, public-domain material, Publisher Content, and third-party material governed by its own rights or license. These provisions do not restrict independently obtaining information from other lawful sources.
Public records may combine materials governed by different rights. AppGoblin-derived materials are subject to the license applicable to the identified source dataset or version from which they were obtained, including CC BY 4.0 where identified. Nothing in these provisions limits rights granted under those licenses or applicable law. Required attribution, license references and modification notices must be retained in accordance with the applicable license. No additional legal or technological restriction is imposed on the exercise of those licensed rights.
The inclusion of third-party material does not, by itself, apply its license to Blue Jetty's separately protectable contributions. Conversely, Blue Jetty's processing, normalization or incorporation of material does not extinguish the original license or create exclusive ownership of underlying facts.
4. Publisher context
Publisher Content remains owned by its applicable rights holders. Blue Jetty makes approved public Publisher Content available for the permitted discovery uses only within the permissions granted by the publisher. Public availability does not grant broader redistribution rights except where an applicable license or law provides otherwise.
5. Provenance and accurate representation
Comply with attribution and notice requirements imposed by applicable licenses. Separately, where reasonably practicable, preserve source and freshness context necessary to avoid materially misleading users. These provisions do not require every ordinary search result or generative answer to reproduce every metadata field; presentation must nevertheless satisfy applicable license requirements.
Do not falsely describe index-derived observations as publisher-authorized statements, imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist, or represent historical observations as current verification. A source timestamp, publisher assertion and Blue Jetty verification observation have distinct meanings.
6. Model training
Blue Jetty permits model training and related model-development uses of its own original website copy, editorial articles, developer documentation and schemas on the first-party paths expressly allowed for GPTBot, ClaudeBot and Google-Extended in its robots.txt. This permission covers only material Blue Jetty owns and has authority to license. It does not extend to Publisher Content, third-party images or other third-party material appearing on those pages; applicable independent licenses and rights remain unchanged. App records, feeds, packets and hosted publisher content are outside this first-party permission. Allowing access does not represent that a model will learn, retain or cite the material.
The discovery permission above does not grant permission to train or fine-tune a general-purpose model on Blue Jetty Materials or Publisher Content for which Blue Jetty has not obtained and granted the necessary training rights. Any contractual training restriction remains subject to applicable third-party licenses, independently obtained information, statutory exceptions and other rights Blue Jetty cannot restrict. Retrieval indexing and caching for the permitted discovery uses are not prohibited merely because the consuming service uses a generative model.
7. Service access and agreements
Ordinary anonymous public retrieval remains available without an API credential. Publication of this policy does not itself establish that every anonymous visitor has affirmatively accepted a contract. Separate authenticated consumer services or managed bulk delivery may require an identifiable account and affirmative acceptance of a versioned agreement before credentials or access are issued.
Blue Jetty may apply reasonable operational limits to protect service availability and investigate abuse, and enforce valid agreements and applicable rights. Operational controls do not revoke or modify independently applicable third-party licenses. Requests for additional managed access or uses beyond the available permissions should be directed to the published legal contact.
